COVID-19 - CORONAVIRUS

Coronavirus protectionWe follow all the advice and systems put in place by the New Zealand Medical/Health Authorities.

Your health and the health of our staff is our top priority!

Rest assured that we are fully trained in how to handle and prepare the deceased. We understand the dangers and will take every care with the deceased, your families and our staff.

We ask that you would inform us if you have any concerns or even suspect that the deceased or one of your family has been in contact with potentially infected people.

At all our facilities we already follow best hygiene practice but have increased cleaning with hospital-level disinfectants, just to be extra safe.

How coronavirus spreads

Coronavirus is most likely spread from person to person through:

  • Direct close contact with a person while they’re infectious
  • Contact with droplets of bodily fluids when an infected person coughs or sneezes
  • Contact with an object/surface (with viral particles) and then touching your mouth, eyes or nose.
